Chivas Regal 12 Year Old
The Chivas brothers created this much acclaimed Scotch in the early 20th century. Not less than half a century ago the company started to create whisky and Chivas Regal 12 Year Old saw its first official release post Prohibition.
Chivas Regal 12 Year Old has a creamy nose of vanilla custard, hints of aniseed, lemon curd and butter toffee. You can also feel wood shavings and dried banana chips develop with just a hint of cassis.
The palate has the overpowering note of banana chips. You can steadily feel a creamy hint of barley malt too, spiced with notes of ground walnut and caramel. The final finish comes out a bit spicy with black pepper on the trail. You can also get hints of sweetness from the cereal. This can overall be termed as a balanced blend with a piquant touch.

The nose mostly resembles buttery cinnamon toast, concentrated raisin in the background, astringent woody touches, glacé cherry, and barrel char. The finish comes out as medium length, with chocolate, raisins and more char.
