DFS Announces "Global Whiskey Festival" in Eight Locations

The DFS Group announced the roll out of its first “Global Whiskey Festival” which will feature 300 variants across 8 locations in Asia, North America and Middle East. This festival will bring together 300 whiskies, allowing customers to experiment and explore some of world’s top-notch whiskies including limited edition bottles which are exclusive to DFS.

In a release, Brooke Supernaw, the Senior Vice President, Wines, Spirits, Tobacco said that as whiskey continues to gain attention they are thrilled to provide travelers with an opportunity to celebrate “all things whiskey” with the launch of their first-ever international Whiskey Festival. He added that the Festival has been designed to offer both collectors and beginners an opportunity to explore the multi-faceted spirit.

The guests will be provided with a special “DFS Whiskey Flavor Profile Tool” which will categorize liquids according to Floral and Delicate, Smokey and Intense, Fruity and Elegant and Rich and Rounded profiles allowing them to discover the complex flavors. By using this tool, travelers can discover their personal whiskey style and preferences. The highlights of the Whiskey Festival will include Royal Salute Polo Collection 2017, Suntory Chita Single Grain and Johnnie Walker Blender’s Batch 2: Bourbon Cask & Rye Finish.

DFS, Singapore Changi Airport: 27th May -30th June

DFS, Hong Kong International Airport; DFS, Los Angeles International Airport; DFS, San Francisco International Airport; DFS John F Kennedy International Airport; T Galleria by DFS, Angkor: 1st June-30th June

DFS, Hawaii Honolulu International Airport: 1st July-30th July

DFS, Abu Dhabi International Airport: 1st Aug-31st Aug

Early this year, the DFS Group hosted the Sixth Masters of Wines and Spirits Event which showcased 60 rare cognacs, whiskies and wines from more than 50 houses.
