Something Special Scotch

Something Special Scotch

Something Special is the no.4 blended Premium Scotch whisky in South America with a particularly strong presence in Colombia and Dominican Republic. One of Seagram's (as was) most successful luxury retail blends in the 1970s, Something Special is rarely seen on these shores nowadays. But let's not forget that a lot of lovely Longmorn goes into this blend - if you can see past the supremely naff '70s packaging, this is a pretty impressive whisky.

In 1912, Hill Thompson and Co. launched Something Special, a whisky aged in carefully selected casks. Its distinctive, diamond-shaped bottle was inspired by one of Scotland’s foremost diamond-cutters.
