From the house of Tilaknagar Industries, Mansion House is a brand of blended Indian whisky. It is a blend of imported Scotch malts, Indian grain and neutral spirits with a slightly higher malt content than usual Indian whiskies.
Tilaknagar Industries was initially established as Maharashtra Sugar Mills in 1933 by Mahadev L Dahanukar in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The business was gradually diversified and then merged with the liquor making business over time.
The brand is still run by the Dahanukar family with the fourth generation currently holding the reins of Tilaknagar Industries. Their portfolio also contains various other spirit brands such as Madira Rum, Volga Vodka, Blue Lagoon orange Gin and more.
Like all Indian whiskies, Mansion House also carries an alcohol strength of 42.8% ABV.
The Mansion House whisky brand has not won any awards or medals at any whisky tasting competitions.
